Sanding Pad

Use this inexpensive pad to make your sanding go a lot smoother.

The rubberized non-slip shelf padding, available in the shelf paper section of many stores, makes a great sanding pad. The rubberized padding helps prevent slipping and marring of the wood while you sand. The padding is inexpensive and can be rinsed off to rejuvenate the non-slip properties.
